歯科における骨密度評価
歯科における骨密度評価とは、歯またはインプラント埋入部位を支持する歯槽骨の量と質を評価することである。評価は、X線画像（パノラマX線写真、デンタルX線写真、歯科用コーンビームCT）と臨床検査を統合し、骨密度を4つのカテゴリー（I型〜IV型）に分類し、骨吸収量を定量化する。正確な骨密度評価は、インプラント計画、インプラント成功率の予測、および骨質のばらつきを考慮した手術および負荷プロトコルの調整に不可欠である。
