| 概要≠ | The Vertigo Symptom Scale (VSS) is a self-report questionnaire assessing the frequency and severity of vertigo and associated symptoms (nausea, lightheadedness, visual disturbance, head motion intolerance). Developed by Yardley et al. in 1992, the VSS measures symptom burden rather than handicap, making it distinct from disability-focused measures. The VSS is valuable for characterizing symptom clusters, monitoring symptom progression, and evaluating treatment response in vestibular and central dizziness disorders. | The Anxiety Sensitivity Index–3 (ASI-3) is an 18-item self-report questionnaire that measures anxiety sensitivity—the tendency to fear bodily sensations and interpret them as signs of impending threat. Developed by Taylor and colleagues in 2007, it distinguishes between three domains of anxiety sensitivity: physical, cognitive, and social. The ASI-3 is widely used in research and clinical assessment to identify individuals at risk for anxiety disorders, panic disorder, and post-traumatic stress. |
