概要The QSU-Brief is a 10-item self-report instrument that rapidly assesses the intensity of craving for cigarettes and the intention to smoke. Developed by Cox, Tiffany, and Christen in 1996, it is a brief version of the longer Questionnaire on Smoking Urges (QSU) and is widely used in smoking cessation treatment and research settings to measure one of the strongest predictors of smoking relapse. The QSU-Brief is also applicable, with adaptation, to other addictive substances. The BAM is a 17-item self-report instrument designed to provide rapid, multimodal assessment of substance use, craving, risk factors, protective factors, and psychosocial functioning in individuals receiving addiction treatment. Developed by Cacciola and colleagues in 2013, it serves as an efficient outcome monitoring tool for tracking treatment progress, identifying relapse warning signs, and guiding therapeutic adjustments. The BAM is useful in treatment settings where frequent assessment of multiple domains is needed to optimize care.
