| 概要≠ | Bayesian Active Learning (BAL) combines a probabilistic model with an active query strategy to identify the unlabeled examples that, once labeled, would most reduce model uncertainty. Instead of labeling data at random, BAL guides an oracle — typically a human annotator — toward the points where labeling will provide the greatest information gain, making it highly label-efficient. | Semi-supervised learning (SSL) is a machine learning paradigm that trains models using a small set of labeled examples together with a much larger pool of unlabeled data. By leveraging the structure inherent in unlabeled data, SSL achieves accuracy closer to fully supervised models while requiring far fewer costly manual labels — making it practical when labeling is expensive, slow, or resource-constrained. |
