Campionamento Forestale
Il campionamento forestale è un approccio sistematico per stimare le caratteristiche forestali come il volume legnoso, la composizione delle specie e la biomassa, mediante l'indagine su un sottoinsieme rappresentativo di alberi piuttosto che condurre censimenti esaustivi. Sviluppato da Loetsch e colleghi negli anni '70, il metodo applica la teoria del campionamento statistico alla valutazione forestale e rimane il fondamento per la gestione forestale sostenibile e il monitoraggio delle risorse a livello mondiale.
