ASM is widely used to design, optimize, and predict the performance of wastewater treatment plants under varying influent and operational conditions. | Wastewater treatment design is the comprehensive planning and engineering of municipal and industrial treatment plants to remove contaminants (organic matter, nutrients, pathogens, trace organics) from domestic and industrial wastewater.
