Pengumpulan data sensor seluler menggunakan sensor bawaan dari smartphone, tablet, atau perangkat sandang untuk menangkap data perilaku, fisiologis, dan lingkungan dalam pengaturan dunia nyata. Sensor seperti akselerometer, GPS, monitor detak jantung, detektor cahaya sekitar, dan mikrofon merekam data secara pasif atau sesuai permintaan, memungkinkan peneliti untuk mempelajari perilaku manusia dengan resolusi temporal tinggi di luar laboratorium.
