Analisis Kode Statis

Analisis kode statis secara otomatis memeriksa kode sumber tanpa eksekusi, mendeteksi potensi bug, kerentanan keamanan, bau kode (code smells), dan pelanggaran gaya. Dipelopori oleh Engler dan Pugh (2001), alat analisis otomatis memindai basis kode dalam skala besar, mengidentifikasi pola cacat lebih cepat daripada tinjauan manual. Organisasi mengintegrasikan analisis statis ke dalam alur kerja integrasi berkelanjutan (continuous integration) untuk mencegah cacat sejak dini.
