Sampling Inventarisasi Hutan
Sampling inventarisasi hutan adalah pendekatan sistematis untuk mengestimasi karakteristik hutan seperti volume kayu, komposisi spesies, dan biomassa dengan menyurvei sebagian representatif dari pohon daripada melakukan sensus menyeluruh. Dikembangkan oleh Loetsch dan kolega pada tahun 1970-an, metode ini menerapkan teori sampling statistik untuk penilaian hutan dan tetap menjadi dasar bagi pengelolaan hutan lestari dan pemantauan sumber daya di seluruh dunia.
