Interferogram fringe analysis
Az interferogram fringe analysis egy számítási módszertan kvantitatív információ kinyerésére optikai rendszerekben rögzített interferenciafrincipátus mintázatokból. Thomas Young 1801-es kettős rés kísérletében gyökerezik, és a 20. századi metrológiában formalizálódott. Ez az eljárás a konstruktív és destruktív interferencia térbeli mintázatait értelmezi a felület topográfia, optikai aberrációk, törésmutató-eloszlások és egyéb optikai tulajdonságok nagy pontosságú mérésére.
