| Összefoglaló≠ | Multilevel MCMC applies Markov chain Monte Carlo sampling to hierarchical (multilevel) Bayesian models. It draws samples from the joint posterior of both group-level and population-level parameters simultaneously, propagating uncertainty across levels and enabling inference in clustered or nested data structures where observations within groups share common distributional characteristics. | Bayesian regression is a probabilistic version of linear regression that treats the model parameters as uncertain quantities. Instead of returning a single best-fit estimate, it combines prior knowledge with the observed data to produce a full posterior probability distribution for each parameter, from which credible intervals and predictions are read off. |
