ÖsszefoglalóLongitudinal multiple case study is a qualitative research design that examines two or more bounded cases through repeated data-collection waves over an extended period. By tracking each case across time and comparing patterns across cases, researchers can document how phenomena change, stabilise, or diverge — generating both depth within each site and breadth across sites that neither a single case nor a one-shot survey can provide.Longitudinal narrative research is a qualitative design that follows participants across multiple time points, gathering and analyzing their stories to understand how experiences, identities, and meanings evolve over time. Rooted in Clandinin and Connelly's narrative inquiry tradition, it treats human experience as fundamentally storied and temporal — what matters is not just what happened but how people narrate, revise, and make sense of their lives as circumstances change.
