ÖsszefoglalóThe Hodgkin-Huxley model is a mathematical description of how action potentials in neurons are generated by the flow of sodium and potassium ions across the cell membrane. Developed by Alan Hodgkin and Andrew Huxley in 1952, it is a foundational model in neuroscience and earned them the Nobel Prize, establishing quantitative biophysics as a discipline.Muscle synergy analysis decomposes complex motor behavior into a small set of coactivated muscle groups (synergies or motor primitives). Pioneered by Marc Tresch and colleagues studying frog motor control, this approach reveals how the nervous system simplifies the control of many muscles by organizing them into task-relevant combinations.
