एजेंट-आधारित सेलुलर ऑटोमेटा (ABCA) एक संकर अनुकरण ढाँचा है जो सेलुलर ऑटोमेटा के स्थानीय संक्रमण नियमों को एजेंट-आधारित मॉडलिंग के स्वायत्त व्यवहारिक तर्क के साथ एकीकृत करता है। एक स्थानिक ग्रिड में कोशिकाएँ पड़ोस के नियमों के अनुसार विकसित होती हैं और एजेंटों को भी होस्ट करती हैं जो अनुभव करते हैं, निर्णय लेते हैं और कार्य करते हैं, जिससे भूमि-उपयोग परिवर्तन, रोग प्रसार, भीड़ की गतिशीलता और पारिस्थितिकी तंत्र के विकास जैसी जटिल स्थानिक परिघटनाओं का अध्ययन संभव होता है।
