בניית גרף ידע היא תהליך כריית טקסט (text-mining pipeline) הממיר טקסט לא מובנה לגרף מובנה של ישויות והקשרים ביניהן. בהתבסס על הסינתזה של Hogan et al. (2021) וסקירת למידת מכונה רלציונית (relational machine learning) של Nickel et al. (2016), הוא מייצג ידע כצמתים (ישויות כגון אנשים, מקומות, ארגונים) המחוברים באמצעות קשתות מתויגות (הקשרים), ומשמש לחיפוש סמנטי, מערכות המלצה והסקת מסקנות.
