מבחן A/B (ניסוי מבוקר מקוון)
מבחן A/B הוא ניסוי מבוקר אקראי החושף בו-זמנית שתי קבוצות משתמשים לגרסה מבוקרת (A) וגרסת טיפול (B) על מנת לקבוע אם תוצאה נמדדת שונה באופן מובהק ביניהן. מסגרת הניסויים המבוקרים המקוונים המודרנית סודרה על ידי רון כהנאי ועמיתיו במיקרוסופט בתחילת שנות ה-2000, תוך בנייה על עקרונות האקראיות הקלאסיים של ר. א. פישר משנת 1935. זהו הכלי הדומיננטי להסקה סיבתית בפיתוח מוצרי אינטרנט, שיווק דיגיטלי ופלטפורמות ניסויים.
