Résumé	The Piper Fatigue Scale is a 22-item multidimensional self-report instrument that evaluates cancer-related fatigue across four conceptually distinct domains: behavioral/severity, affective/meaning, sensory, and cognitive/mood. Developed by Barbara Piper and colleagues in 1989 and revised in 1998, the PFS is grounded in a theoretical model of fatigue mechanisms and is widely used in oncology research and clinical practice to assess treatment-related and disease-related fatigue.	The Cancer Fatigue Scale is a 15-item disease-specific self-report instrument that comprehensively assesses three dimensions of cancer-related fatigue: physical, cognitive, and emotional. Developed by Takuo Okuyama and colleagues at the Japanese Foundation for Cancer Research and published in 2000, the CFS provides a brief yet multidimensional fatigue profile suitable for both clinical practice and research, with particular strength in non-English-speaking populations where it has been extensively validated.
