Résumé	The KDQOL is the most widely used quality of life measure for chronic kidney disease (CKD) patients, particularly those on dialysis. Developed by Ron Hays and colleagues in 1994, this multidimensional questionnaire (full version 134 items; short-form KDQOL-SF 36 items) measures kidney disease-specific impacts on physical function, emotional well-being, social participation, and treatment burden. It is the standard outcome measure in renal research and clinical practice.	The EORTC QLQ-C30 is the most widely used international instrument for assessing quality of life in cancer patients. Developed by the European Organisation for Research and Treatment of Cancer in 1993, it measures physical, emotional, cognitive, and social functioning alongside cancer-specific symptoms and financial impact, making it the standard outcome measure in oncology clinical trials and patient care.
