It is the most widely used instrument for assessing dissociative symptom severity in both clinical and research settings, valuable for identifying depersonalisation disorder, monitoring treatment response, and understanding the prevalence of depersonalisation in anxiety, mood, and trauma populations. | The ERQ is a 10-item self-report measure assessing two primary emotion regulation strategies: cognitive reappraisal and expressive suppression.
