Carbon footprints inform climate mitigation strategies, corporate sustainability reporting, product labeling, and carbon pricing mechanisms. | Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) is a systematic, structured process to identify, predict, and evaluate the environmental and social consequences of proposed development projects (infrastructure, extraction, manufacturing) before implementation.
