Instead of exhaustive grid search or random search, a probabilistic surrogate model guides the search for optimal hyperparameters, dramatically reducing the number of costly model evaluations needed to reach strong predictive performance. | Gradient Boosting is an ensemble learning method, formalised by Jerome H.
