Synteettinen Difference-in-Differences
Synteettinen Difference-in-Differences (SDID) yhdistää synteettisen kontrollin ja difference-in-differences -lähestymistavat hoitovaikutusten arvioimiseksi, kun politiikka tai interventio vaikuttaa yhteen yksikköön (maahan, yritykseen) tiettynä ajankohtana. Arkhangelsky et al. (2021) esittelemä menetelmä parantaa molempia yksittäisiä menetelmiä käyttämällä painotettuja kontrolliyhdistelmiä, jotka vastaavat käsitellyn yksikön esikäsittelytrendejä ja -tasoja. Tämä tuottaa tarkempia ja robustimpia estimaatteja kuin klassinen DiD tai synteettinen kontrolli.
