ATR-FTIR

Attenuated Total Reflectance (ATR) Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) spektroskoopia on tavalise FTIRi variant, mis mõõdab infrapunakiirguse neeldumist läbi evanestseeruva laine uurimise abil proovide puhul, mis on otseses kontaktis kõrge murdumisnäitajaga kristalliga. Harricki ja Fahrenforti poolt 1960. aastatel välja töötatud ATR-FTIR on nüüd domineeriv FTIR-spektroskoopia vorm, mis võimaldab kiiret, mittepurustavat orgaaniliste ühendite, polümeeride, kattekihtide ja bioloogiliste materjalide iseloomustamist ilma ulatusliku proovide ettevalmistamiseta.
