Sobiv filter

Sobiv filter on optimaalne signaalidetektor, mis maksimeerib signaali-müra suhet (SNR) tuntud signaali tuvastamiseks aditiivses Gaussi müra keskkonnas. D. O. Northi poolt Teise maailmasõja ajal radari jaoks välja töötatud sobiv filter on optimaalne lineaarfilter signaalituvastuseks ning moodustab tuvastusteooria ja digitaalse side aluse.
