Surgeavundamine

Surgeavundamine (CS) on signaali hankimise ja rekonstrueerimise tehnika, mis kasutab signaali harvust, et taastada kõrge resolutsiooniga signaale palju väiksemast arvust mõõtmisi kui Nyquisti diskreetimisteoreem nõuab. Emmanuel Candèsi, Justin Rombergi ja Terence Tao poolt 2006. aastal välja töötatud surgeavundamine seab kahtluse alla traditsioonilise diskreetimise paradigma, näidates, et harva esindatavaid signaale saab rekonstrueerida alamsüquistiliste juhuslike mõõtmistega, kasutades mittelineaarset optimeerimist.
