Finite-Difference Time-Domain

Finite-Difference Time-Domain (FDTD) meetod on arvutuslik tehnika, mis lahendab Maxwelli võrrandeid, diskretiseerides ruumi ja aja võrgustikus. Kane Yee poolt 1966. aastal tutvustatud FDTD on arvutusliku elektrodünaamika ja optilise simulatsiooni aluslik lähenemisviis, mis võimaldab elektromagnetlainete leviku otsest modelleerimist läbi keerukate keskkondade.
