Veebipõhine otsustuspuu on otsustuspuu, mis kasvab pidevast andmevoost inkrementaalselt, ilma et ta minevikunäiteid uuesti läbi vaataks. Domineeriv algoritm, Hoeffdingi puu (VFDT), kasutab Hoeffdingi piirväärtust, et otsustada, millal on mingi sõlme jaoks piisavalt näiteid nähtud, et seda enesekindlalt jagada, võimaldades skaleeritavat reaalajas klassifitseerimist potentsiaalselt lõpututel andmevoogudel.
