Nõrgalt juhendatud üksikobjektide segmentimine treenib süvaõppevõrke üksikute objektide instanside piiritlemiseks pikslitasandil, kasutades ainult odavaid, mittetäielikke annotatsioone – nagu piirkarbid, pilditasemel sildid või punktklõpsud – mitte aga kulukaid täielikke pikslipõhiseid maske. See vähendab drastiliselt annotatsioonide tegemise vaeva, tootes samal ajal pildil iga objekti kohta instansitasemel maske.
