Canny servalldetektor

Canny servalldetektor, mille John Canny 1986. aastal avaldas, on mitmeastmeline algoritm digitaalsetel piltidel servade tuvastamiseks, kus esineb märkimisväärseid intensiivsuse muutusi. Canny meetod on optimaalne aditiivse Gaussi müra korral esinevate astmeliste servade jaoks ja jääb arvutivisioonis servatuvastuse kuldstandardiks selle matemaatilise elegantsi ja praktilise tõhususe tõttu.
