Investigación cuantitativa exploratoria
La investigación cuantitativa exploratoria es un diseño no experimental que se utiliza cuando un fenómeno no se comprende lo suficientemente bien como para respaldar la prueba formal de hipótesis. El investigador recopila datos numéricos —típicamente a través de encuestas, observación estructurada o registros existentes— para describir distribuciones, detectar patrones y generar hipótesis que estudios confirmatorios más específicos puedan probar posteriormente. Ocupa la primera etapa de un programa de investigación cuantitativa acumulativa.
