OHIP-14/Evidence
Method evidence record

OHIP-14

The OHIP-14 is a 14-item, validated instrument measuring the impact of oral conditions on quality of life and functional well-being. Developed by Slade in 1997, it is a shortened form of the original 49-item OHIP and has become the gold standard for assessing oral health-related quality of life in clinical research and practice. It captures patient-centred outcomes across functional, psychological, and social dimensions.
