Neutrosophic extension of TODIM
N-TODIM (Neutrosophic extension of TODIM) is a ranking multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) method introduced by Ji, P., Zhang, H. Y., Wang, J. Q. in 2018. It turns a decision matrix of alternatives scored on multiple criteria into a structured, reproducible result.

When to use it
n-todim extends TODIM to handle Neutrosophic uncertainty. All arithmetic operations (normalisation, weighting, distance computation) are performed using Single-Valued Neutrosophic Set (SVNS: T, I, F; T,I,F ∈ [0,1], T+I+F ≤ 3) algebra. The final scores are defuzzified via score function S = (T − F + 1)/2 before ranking.
Strengths & limitations
- Follows a transparent, reproducible computational procedure that can be audited step by step.
- Handles multiple criteria of differing scales and units within a single decision matrix.
- Assumes full compensation — a strong score on one criterion can offset a weak score on another.
