Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy

Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) is a structured, manualized psychotherapy designed to treat post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and trauma-related symptoms in children, adolescents, and adults. Developed by Judith Cohen, Anthony Mannarino, and Esther Deblinger beginning in 1998, TF-CBT is now an evidence-based first-line treatment for PTSD with demonstrated efficacy across diverse trauma types and populations.
