Zusammenfassung	The PAQLQ is a 23-item self-report instrument developed by Juniper et al. in 1996 to measure quality of life in children aged 7–17 years with asthma. It assesses how asthma and its treatment affect daily functioning, emotions, and activity levels. The instrument has become the gold standard for evaluating asthma-specific health-related quality of life in pediatric populations.	The PedsQL Cardiac Module is a disease-specific instrument developed by Varni et al. in the mid-2000s to measure quality of life in children and adolescents with cardiac disease aged 2–18 years. Measuring across domains including cardiac symptom impact, activity limitations, and cardiac-related worry, it captures how congenital heart disease, acquired heart disease, and cardiac treatment affect daily functioning and well-being. Used alongside the PedsQL Generic Core Scales, it provides comprehensive assessment of cardiac-specific and general health-related quality of life.
