Zero-Forcing (ZF) og Minimum Mean-Square Error (MMSE) equalization er fundamentale lineære modtager-algoritmer til at bekæmpe intersymbolinterferens i dispersive kanaler. Udviklet i konteksten af datatransmissionsteori, danner disse metoder grundlaget for moderne kanal-equalization i trådløse og kablede systemer. Mens ZF aggressivt annullerer interferens, balancerer MMSE interferensundertrykkelse med støjforstærkning, hvilket gør den til den optimale lineære løsning under Gaussisk støj.
