Bayesiansk Mann-Whitney U-test

Den bayesianske Mann-Whitney U-test er en ikke-parametrisk bayesiansk procedure til sammenligning af to uafhængige grupper, når data er ordinale eller kontinuerlige, der ikke følger en normalfordeling. I stedet for en binær beslutning om forkastelse/ikke-forkastelse kvantificerer den den relative evidens for nul- og alternativhypoteserne gennem en Bayes-faktor, hvilket giver forskere mulighed for at konkludere til fordel for en af hypoteserne eller udtrykke usikkerhed.
