Attribut-kontrolkort (p, np, c, u)
Attribut-kontrolkort udvider Shewharts rammeværk til at omfatte data om antal og proportioner – kvalitetskendetegn, der klassificeres snarere end måles. p- og np-kortene overvåger proportionen eller antallet af defekte enheder ved hjælp af binomialfordelingen, mens c- og u-kortene overvåger antallet af fejl pr. enhed ved hjælp af Poisson-fordelingen. De er standardværktøjerne til statistisk proceskontrol, når inspektion resulterer i bestået/ikke bestået eller antal fejl snarere end kontinuerlige målinger.
