Bayesiansk rumlig autokorrelation

Bayesiansk rumlig autokorrelation indlejrer rumlig afhængighed direkte i en Bayesiansk hierarkisk model. En Conditional Autoregressive (CAR) prior kodificerer forventningen om, at naboområder er mere ens end fjerntliggende områder, og posterior inferens opnås via MCMC. Denne tilgang er især værdifuld inden for sygdomskortlægning, økologi og regionalvidenskab, hvor estimater for små områder har brug for at trække styrke fra naboer.
