Softwarepålidelighedsmodel

Softwarepålidelighedsmodeller forudsiger adfærden af fejlhyppigheder under test og drift og estimerer, hvornår software opnår de krævede pålidelighedsmål. Disse stokastiske modeller, introduceret af Goel og Okumoto (1979), indfanger, hvordan opdagelsen af defekter aftager, efterhånden som test skrider frem. Organisationer bruger pålidelighedsmodeller til at forudsige klarhed til udgivelse, estimere testvarighed og validere opnået kvalitet.
