Stochastic Particle Swarm Optimization (Stochastic PSO) er en sværm-intelligens metaheuristik, der udvider standard PSO-rammeværket ved at inkorporere eksplicitte stokastiske elementer — tilfældige inertivægte, probabilistiske hastigheds-nulstillinger eller støjindsprøjtninger — for at undslippe lokale optima og opretholde populationsdiversitet gennem hele søgningen.
