Policy Scenario Goal Programming (PSGP) integrerer goal programming-optimering med politisk scenarieanalyse for at evaluere, hvor godt konkurrerende politiske mål kan opnås under distinkte fremtidige forhold. Beslutningstagere definerer multiple mål og flere plausible politiske scenarier, og løser derefter en goal programming-model for hvert scenarie for at identificere, hvilke politiske strategier der bedst opfylder prioriterede mål på tværs af hele scenarierummet.
