Agent-baseret simuleringsmodellering af køsystemer (AB-QS) kombinerer agent-baseret modellering med køteori til at simulere systemer, hvor autonome, beslutningstagende enheder interagerer gennem ventelinjer og servicepunkter. Hver enhed (patient, kunde, job) modelleres som en uafhængig agent med sin egen tilstand og adfærdsregler, hvilket muliggør rigere, mere realistiske dynamikker end klassiske kømodeller alene.
