Invers sampling

Invers sampling er en sekventiel stikprøvestrategi, hvor stikprøvetagningen fortsætter, indtil et fast antal forekomster af en sjælden begivenhed eller et interessant element er observeret. Introduceret af J. B. S. Haldane i 1945, er den særligt effektiv til at estimere sandsynligheder for sjældne begivenheder eller proportioner, når målet er sparsomt og dyrt at detektere.
