Interventionsfokuseret blandede metoder

Interventionsfokuseret blandede metoder er et forskningsdesign, der indlejrer både kvantitative og kvalitative spor inden for en interventions- eller programevalueringsundersøgelse. Det kombinerer resultat-måling — typisk fra et randomiseret eller kvasi-eksperimentelt forsøg — med kvalitativ undersøgelse af, hvordan og hvorfor interventionen virkede, for hvem og under hvilke betingelser. Designet anvendes bredt inden for sundhed, uddannelse, sociale ydelser og politikevaluering, hvor forståelse af mekanismer og kontekst er lige så vigtig som måling af effektivitet.
