Surface Code kvantefejlkorrektion

Surface code er en todimensionel topologisk kvantefejlkorrigerende kode, der beskytter kvanteinformation gennem geometrisk redundans. Introduceret af Alexei Kitaev i 2003, betragtes surface code som den førende kandidat til storskala fejltolerant kvantecomputering på grund af dens høje fejlgrænser og realiserbarhed på todimensionelle qubit-arrays.
