Polytomisk Differential Item Functioning (Polytomous DIF)

Polytomisk differential item functioning detekterer, om et test- eller spørgeskemapunkt med mere end to ordnede svarkategorier (f.eks. Likert-skalaer, delvis-kredit-punkter) fungerer forskelligt på tværs af grupper som køn, etnicitet eller sproglig baggrund, efter at der er kontrolleret for den latente egenskab, der måles. Det udvider klassiske binære DIF-metoder til ordinale svarformater.
