McDonald's Omega (ω) Pålidelighedskoefficient

McDonald's omega er en faktoranalytisk baseret pålidelighedskoefficient introduceret af Roderick P. McDonald (1999), der kvantificerer den interne konsistens af en sammensat score uden at kræve den restriktive antagelse, at alle items bidrager ligeligt til den latente faktor. Den giver to komplementære indeks: ω_total, som dækker den samlede pålidelighed af sumscoren, og ω_hierarchical (ωh), som rapporterer, hvor meget af den sammensatte scores varians der specifikt forklares af en enkelt generel faktor.
