Dynamisk Programmering

Dynamisk Programmering (DP) er en eksakt optimeringsteknik introduceret af Richard Bellman i 1957 til løsning af flertrinsbeslutningsproblemer. Den dekomponerer et komplekst problem i simplere, overlappende delproblemer, løser hvert delproblem én gang og gemmer resultaterne for at undgå redundant beregning. Baseret på Optimalitetsprincippet garanterer DP globalt optimale løsninger, når problemet udviser overlappende delproblemer og optimal substruktur.
