Optimering af Stope-layout

Stope layout optimization er processen med at designe størrelsen, formen og den rumlige placering af underjordiske mineudgravninger (stopes) for at maksimere malmudvinding, samtidig med at sikkerhed og økonomisk levedygtighed opretholdes. Den balancerer ønsket om store udvindingsvolumener mod begrænsninger i bjergmekanik og omkostninger til understøtning. Layoutet bestemmer mineproduktivitet, kapitalinvesteringer i understøtningssystemer og minelevetid på lang sigt.
