Bayesiansk beslutningstræ (Bayesiansk CART) tildeler en prior-fordeling over træstrukturer og bladparametre, og anvender derefter Markov chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) til at udforske posterior-fordelingen af træer givet data. I stedet for et enkelt bedste træ producerer det en fordeling af plausible træer, hvis forudsigelser middles, hvilket giver kalibrerede usikkerhedsestimater sammen med punktforudsigelser.
